Samsung Galaxy S24 series is on the way to make its entry into the market!!! Samsung Galaxy S24 series is the flagship lineup of Samsung. The launch date of this phone has been rumored a few times. But this time it is not any rumors, it is a report of a Korean social media, SBS Biz.
Usually, Samsung used to launch the Galaxy S series in early February. The Galaxy S23 series launched on February 2023, and its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 series was released on February 10, 2022. But this time, Samsung set the launch date in the middle of January.
In a recent post in SBS Biz, the launch date of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 has been confirmed. According to the article, Samsung will launch its new smartphones in December and top of the top-of-the-line flagship model, the S24 will launch in January. According to the article, the release date of the Galaxy S24 series is 17 January 2024. It is also mentioned that the launch event will be held in San Francisco, USA. The company has started to prepare considering the date.
There have been some rumors about the possible specifications of the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This includes:
- It is the only phone in this series to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy. This chipset is till now the fastest Android chipset. There is nothing to question about the capabilities of this chipset.
- S24 Ultra will have a titanium frame just like the iPhone 15 Pro Max.
- The primary camera of the phone will be 200 MP.
- The display will be in between flat and curved. It will be wider compared to its predecessor the S23 Ultra.
- It has been rumored that this phone will use stack battery technology. If it is true, it will be a massive breakthrough in smartphone history. It is expected that with the use of stack battery technology, smartphone battery capacity will increase significantly. It also takes less space for the same amount of energy to store than traditional battery technology.
The base S24 and S24 Plus models will come with an Exynos chipset. So, it is a bit of a disappointment to not have the Snapdragon chipset on these devices. But it will be interesting to see if Samsung can really make some improvements and convince the user instead of a phone with a Snapdragon chipset.
However, the Samsung Galaxy S24 series is a much anticipated and demanded smartphone. If Samsung puts everything that the user wants from this device, then it will be a win-win game for Samsung. We hope to see a real competitor of the Apple iPhone 15 Pro Max and another successful and popular smartphone like its predecessor, the Galaxy S23 Ultra.
