Oppo is close enough to refresh its Reno series with the Reno 11 series. Oppo launched the Reno 10, Reno 10 Pro, and Reno 10 Pro+(China exclusive) in May 2023. Only after six months, the Reno 11 series debut with a very similar design. The phone has been spotted in the wild too.
Some key specifications have been revealed by the popular leaker Digital Chat Station in a post on Weibo. According to the post, there will be only two variants of the phone. One is the Reno 11 and another is the Reno 11 Pro. There is no information till now whether it will have any Chinese exclusive version like the Reno 10 Pro+.
Reno 11 Pro: Design
The design of the Reno 11 Pro will be quite similar to the Reno 10 Pro+. The main frame of the phone is made of plastic. The phone is almost 190 gm heavy and 8.26 mm thick. Detail dimensions will be provided soon. On the back, it has an elliptical camera cutout for the rear cameras. The camera bump is divided into two circular parts.
The upper circle contains two camera lenses. The lenses are positioned vertically on top of one another in the center of the circle. It could be the main camera and the ultrawide camera. The bottom circle contains a periscope telephoto lens on the left side of the circle. The flashlight is positioned outside of the camera bump. Till now there is only one color variant of the phone based on the renders that is white. The back panel will have a very unique shaped pattern.
Reno 11 Pro: Display
The display of the OPPO Reno 11 Pro is expected to be very good at its price. The size of the display is yet to be revealed. According to the rumors, the Reno 11 Pro will have a 1.5K display with up to 120 Hz refresh rate and 2160 Hz PWM. It will have a center-cut punch-hole camera on the front.
Reno 11 Pro: Chipset and Memory
The Oppo Reno 10 Pro+ launched with flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and the Oppo Reno 10 Pro launched with Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G. But this time, the upcoming Oppo Reno 11 Pro will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. It is the same chipset that has been used on the Reno 10 Pro+.
All the rumors we have, suggest that the Reno 11 Pro will have LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. UFS 3.1 has been used on the Reno 10 Pro+. So it is the same thing on a new phone.
Reno 11 Pro: Camera
The camera is one of the crucial things when picking up a flagship phone. The Reno 10 Pro+ has 50 MP (main) + 32MP (periscope telephoto) + 8 MP (ultrawide) on the rear. But there are no exact details of camera specifications. According to Digital Chatting Station, the main camera will use an IMX890 sensor. The ultrawide and telephoto lenses will use IMX355 and IMX709 lenses respectively.
The periscope telephoto lens will support 2X optical zoom. There will be a 16 MP selfie camera on the front. The Reno 10 Pro+ has a 32 MP selfie camera.
Reno 11 Pro: Battery
The Reno 11 Pro will pack the same battery capacity as the Reno 10 Pro+ which is 4700 mAh. It remains unchanged on the upcoming Reno 11 Pro. But the charging speed will be decreased from 100W on the Reno 10 Pro+ to 80W. Although 80W is still more than enough to charge a smartphone.
Reno 11 Pro: Release Date
The early leaks and rumors suggest that the Reno 11 and 11 Pro will be released in November 2023. Recently, it has been confirmed that on November 23, 20,23 Oppo will unveil the Oppo Reno 11 series. This includes both the Reno 11 and Reno 11 Pro. So it is only a couple of days ahead
To sum up, the Reno 11 Pro is a redefined version of the Reno 10 Pro+ with a few tweaks and changes. It has only some minor changes over the Reno 10 Pro+. Details will be published once we get credible news regarding this.
