Vivo X100 and X100 Pro Official: Full Rundown of the Next Flagship Killers

Vivo recently unveiled its latest flagship phone series, the X100 and X100 Pro, representing the brand’s push into high-end territory. After analyzing the key specifications, it’s clear Vivo has delivered an enticing blend of innovative features, top-shelf hardware, and software enhancements.

Vivo X100/X100 Pro: Displays

The X100 series impresses with its brilliant 6.78” AMOLED displays. Featuring ultra-slim bezels and a resolution of up to 2800×1260, these extra-large panels are perfect for mobile gaming or streaming movies. Support for a buttery smooth 120Hz refresh rate enhances fluidity and responsiveness when scrolling or gaming.

Vivo also engineered these displays for fantastic brightness up to 3,000 nits, ensuring excellent outdoor visibility. And with a blazing fast 2,160Hz PWM dimming, on-screen content adjusts seamlessly from dim to bright scenes without flickering.

Vivo X100/X100 Pro: Chipset

The Vivo X100 series runs on MediaTek’s newest Dimensity 9300 chipset. It is also the first phone to launch with Dimensity 9300. It is an octa-core CPU with one ultra-fast CortexX3 core clocked at 3.2GHz, it delivers smooth, stutter-free performance whether working or playing.

Built on a power-efficient 4nm process, the Dimensity 9300 also strikes an impressive balance between speed and battery life. Even under heavy loads, it uses less power because of MediaTek’s smart resource allocation algorithms.

Vivo X100/X100 Pro: Camera

The standard X100 sports an optically-stabilized 50MP Sony IMX920 main camera, paired with a 64MP periscope telephoto for 3x lossless zoom and a 50MP ultrawide shooter. The ultrawide camera has a 150-degree field of view.

The premium X100 Pro steps it up further, swapping in a massive 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX989 sensor for dramatically better low-light shots. Its 50 MPperiscope telephoto now reaches 4.3x optical zoom. Both models support up to 100x digital zoom. It has also the same 50 MP ultrawide angle camera with a 150degree field of view.

Both phones have the same 32 MP f/2.0 selfie camera on the front.

Vivo X100/X100 Pro: Battery

With great power comes great battery drain, but Vivo made sure that wasn’t an issue. The X100 is packed with a large 5,000 mAh battery. The X100 Pro gets an even bigger 5,400 mAh capacity cell. Combined with the Dimensity 9300’s efficiency, this ensures all-day usage even under heavy use.

When it is time to recharge, Vivo includes some of the fastest charging tech available. The X100 supports up to 120W wired charging for a 0-50% charge in just 8 minutes. Meanwhile, the X100 Pro can recharge with a USB Type-C cable up to 100W alongside 50W wireless charging.

Vivo X100/X100 Pro: OS and Software

On the software side, the X100 series comes with Vivo’s OriginOS 4.0 on top of Android 14. OriginsOS features extensive optimizations tailored precisely for Vivo’s hardware, including display enhancements, AI-boosted performance, and unique customization options. Vivo has crafted a smooth, feature-rich experience to complement the cutting-edge hardware.
