After the announcement of the Honor Magic 6 Lite 5G, Honor Magic 6 Pro’s specifications are surfacing around the internet. The Honor Magic 6 Pro is rumored to come with significant upgrades over the Honor Magic 5 Pro.
According to a post on Weibo, the key specifications of the Honor Magic 6 Pro leaked. Based on that leaked information, here are the rumored specifications of the Magic 6 Pro.
Honor is likely to implement a 2K “Oasis” OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate on this Magic 6 Pro. A hands-on image also appeared with a concealing case to hide the rear panel design. The display on the front is curved with a capsule-shaped camera cutout. There could be a dual selfie camera set up on the front with an additional 3D time of flight sensor for 3D face gesture operation, 3D face unlock, and eye-tracking.
According to the rumored information, the Honor Magic 6 Pro will equip the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 (4 nm) chipset paired with Adreno 750 GPU. It is also rumored to pack a dedicated graphic chip and security chip for next-level graphics and security. The AI model with a massive 7 Billion parameters is reported to feature in the Magic 6 Pro for better AI capabilities and to perform AI tasks more fluently. Unlike the Magic 6 Lite 5G, it will come with Android 14-based Magic OS 8.0 out of the box.
In terms of camera, the Magic 6 Pro will pack a triple rear camera setup. According to the leaked information, the primary camera is expected to be a 50 MP OmniVision OV50K sensor with variable aperture. An unspecified telephoto periscope lens is also present on the rear camera setup.
The Magic 6 Pro will use the same premium aesthetic as the Magic 5 Pro as the rear panel is made of nano-ceramic glass. In addition to that, it also has IP68 water and dust resistance. Another key feature of this phone is the support for satellite communication systems.
According to @RODENT950, all the models of this series will get 5G connectivity. He also added that the Honor Magic 6 Pro and PD models will get 100W charging support while the base Magic 6 will get only 66W wired charging support. It has been scheduled to launch in late January 2024.
